Checking main drive tensioning roller
Test sequence
  W00-2760
–  Removing and installing cover over camshaft housing -arrows-.
–  Remove air inlet duct, as well as air intake tubes, air filter → Injection and Ignition System, 4LV; Rep. Gr.24.

–  Record the position of indicator of tensioning roller -arrow- (to see the marks it is recommendable to use a mirror). Press the toothed belt firmly with thumb. The indicator -1- should move.
–  Release tension on toothed belt.
–  Turn crankshaft twice in direction of engine rotation.
–  Then check the position of the indicator. It should have returned to its original position.
If tensioning roller does not return to initial position:
–  Replace tensioning roller.
If both tensioning rollers are OK:
–  Install lower toothed belt guard.
