  WARNING
When doing any repair work, especially in the engine compartment, pay attention to the following due to the cramped conditions:
t  Route all the various lines and electrical wiring so that they are in their original positions.
t  e.g. for fuel, hydraulics, activated charcoal filter system, coolant and refrigerant, brake fluid, vacuum.
t  Ensure that there is sufficient clearance to all moving or hot components.
If in the test drives it is necessary to use the tester units, take note of the following:
l  Test and measuring instruments must always be secured to rear seat and operated by a second person from this location.
To avoid injury to personnel and/or damage to the preheating and injection system, the following points should be observed:
l  Persons wearing a pacemaker should not lean over the engine compartment while the engine is running, as the injectors use high voltage pulses.
l  The ignition must be switched off before connecting or disconnecting injection or pre-heating system wiring or tester cables.
l  Always switch off the ignition before connecting or disconnecting the battery, otherwise the diesel direct injection system control unit may be damaged.
