Removing
–
Drain coolant
→ Chapter
.
–
Remove toothed belt
→ Chapter
.
–
Unscrew securing bolts
-1-
of the coolant pump and take coolant pump
-2-
off.
–
Remove O-ring
-3-
.
Fitting
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removing, when doing this note the following.
Note
Renew O-ring.

Clean or smoothen the contact surface for O-ring.
–
Lubricate new O-ring
-3-
with coolant additive
»G12+«
.
–
Place the coolant pump
-2-
onto the cylinder block.

Fitting position: The housing cover cap points downwards.
–
Tighten coolant pump bolts
-1-
to 15 Nm.
–
Install notched belt (adjusting valve timing)
→ Anchor

Fill up coolant
→ Chapter
.
