Removing and installing engine speed sender -G28-

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  AF-4mm wrench -T10370-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-10582
t  Extractor -T10118-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Torque wrench -VAG 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor.
Removing
  W00-1148
–  Unscrew the securing bolts -arrows- and remove the engine soundproofing..
  E10-0086
–  Unplug the electrical connector -1- using the extractor -G28- from the engine speed sender -T10118-.
  Note
To release the electrical connection without using the extractor -T10118-, press, using a screwdriver, on the engine speed sender connector and, at the same time, lift the release button using a thin wire hook.
–  Remove oil filter bracket → Chapter.
  A23-10423
–  Loosen the securing bolt -arrow- and pull the engine speed sender -G28- out.
Fitting
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removing, when doing this note the following.
–  Fit the oil filter bracket → Chapter.
