Assembly overview - intake manifold with intake manifold flap motor

The intake manifold flap is closed for approx. 3 seconds when stopping engine and then opens again. This reduces the stop jolt.

2 -	Intake manifold

q	To remove, first remove exhaust gas recirculation cooler → Chapter.

q	For exhaust gas recirculation.

q	Before installing check sealing surfaces on intake manifold for soiling, clean if necessary.
