| q | Before fitting, check and, if necessary, clean the sealing surface on the supercharger. |
| q | When the exhaust gas recirculation valve -N18- with exhaust gas recirculation potentiometer -G212- has been replaced, the ignition must be turned on and back off again. Then wait a minute for the coolant advance of the control device (the valve adjusts itself, the main relay must click) |
| q | Start engine and run for few minutes at idling speed. |
| q | Then read-out the fault memory of the control unit; no fault should be registered in the fault memory → Chapter |
| q | If a malfunction is registered in the fault memory, erase the memory and repeat the sequence of operations. |
