| Rules for cleanliness and instructions for working on fuel system |
| When working on the fuel supply/injection system, pay careful attention to the following "6 rules": |
| Thoroughly clean all joints and connections and the surrounding areas before dismantling. |

| Place removed parts on a clean surface and cover. Use only lint-free cloths. |

| Carefully cover or seal open components if repairs are not to be carried out immediately. |
| t
| Only install clean components: do not remove replacement parts from packaging until just before installation. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in tool boxes etc.). |
| t
| When the system is open: Do not work with compressed air. Do not move the vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
| t
| Connector removed: Protect against dirt and water. Only connect if they are dry. |
