Removing and installing electrical radiator fanV7 and radiator fan -2-V177
Removing and installing electrical radiator fan -V7- and radiator fan -2- -V177-
t  Removing → Anchor.
t  Installing → Anchor.
Removing .
   
–  Remove the engine cover upwards -arrows-.
  E10-10085
–  Remove the air conduit cover by releasing the side tabs -arrows-.

–  Unclip lower air duct -2- by releasing retaining clips on left and right -arrow A-.
–  Detach lower air duct at mounting brackets -3-; swing lower air duct backwards slightly for this.
–  Detach air pipe -1- from lower air duct -arrow B-.

–  Remove bolts -top arrows- for radiator cowl.
  Note
t  The bolts -lower arrows- are removed at a later stage.
t  Disregard: -Pos. 1-.

–  Fit the centre noise insulation -fasteners 1 ... 3-.

–  Remove air hose; loosen hose clip -2- and raise retaining clip -1- for this.

–  Disconnect connector -1-.
–  Remove the bolts -bottom arrows- and take out air cowl downwards.

–  Unplug connector -1-.
–  Uncover cables.
–  Unscrew nuts -arrows- and remove fan.
Installing .
l  Specified torque → Chapter.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install air hose with plug-in connector → Anchor.
–  Fit the centre sound proofing → Exterior body installation work; Rep. gr.50 .
