  Note
After replacing the particle filter or the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450-, the exhaust gas pressure sensor 1 -G450- → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 must be adjusted.
   
1 - Pressure sensor 1 of exhaust gases -G450-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
2 - 10 Nm
3 - Shield
4 - Lambda probe -G39-
q   50 Nm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
5 - Exhaust gas temperature sensor 4 -G648-
q   45 Nm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
6 - Gasket
q   Renew
q   Note installation position.
7 - Clamp, 7 Nm
q   Installation position → Fig..
8 - Exhaust gas temperature sensor 3 -G495-
q   45 Nm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
9 - 25 Nm
10 - Mounting
q   Renew if damaged.
11 - Particulate filter
q   With exhaust pipe and catalytic converter
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   After replacing, adjust in the operating mode „Guided Functions“ → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051
12 - 25 Nm
13 - Bracket
q   Bolted to cylinder head
14 - Control line, 45 Nm
15 - Bracket
q   Bolted to diesel particulate filter
16 - Clip
q   Renew
17 - Bracket
q   Bolted to cylinder head.
18 - 25 Nm
19 - 8 Nm
20 - 25 Nm

   
Installation position of clamp for particulate filter
l  Angle -α- = 0 ± 10°
  A26-10728
Installation position of the front coupling clamp
–  Place a double clamp -a- = 5 mm from the mark on the front exhaust section with the particle filter.
