Removing and installing charge air pressure sender -G31- / intake air temperature sender -G42-
t  Removing → Anchor.
t  Installing → Anchor.
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench (5 - 50 Nm) -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor

Removing .
–  Fit the centre noise insulation -fasteners 1 ... 3-.

–  Remove air hose; loosen hose clip -2- and raise retaining clip -1- for this.

–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Free coolant hose -3-.
–  Release the hose clamp -2-.
–  Unplug connector -1- at charge air pressure sender -G31- and detach air pipe (front).

–  Remove bolts -arrows- and pull charge air pressure sender -G31-/intake air temperature sender -G42- out of air pipe.
Installing .
l  Specified torque → Chapter.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Renew O-ring.
–  Fit the centre sound proofing → Exterior body installation work; Rep. gr.50 .
