Contact corrosion
Contact corrosion can occur if unsuitable fasteners are used (e.g. bolts, nuts, washers, etc.).
For this reason, only fasteners with a special surface coating are fitted.
Also, the rubber or plastic parts and the glues are composed of nonconductive materials.
If you doubt that any component is appropriate, in general use new components → Spares catalogue.
Take note:
t  We recommend you only use original SEAT spare parts.
t  Damage resulting from contact corrosion is not covered by warranty.
