Oil pump chain sprocket: Removing and installing
Oil pump chain sprocket: Removing and installing

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Adjustment sleeve -30 - 100-, see equivalent → Anchor
  W00-0359
t  Compression tool -40 105-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Current two armed extractor
t  Protective gloves
Removing
–  Dismantle the oil sump with oil pump → Chapter.
–  Remove the gasket on the V-belt side → Chapter.

–  Remove the sprocket with the claw extractor -2- (e.g. Kukko 44-1), protecting the end of the crankshaft with the compression tool -40 105-.
Installing
Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  WARNING
Wear protective gloves!
–  Heat the chain sprocket in the oven for about 15 minutes at 220 ºC.
  Note
Fitting position: the broad collar of the sprocket wheel points towards the engine.

–  Fit chain sprocket on end of crankshaft using pliers and slide with fitting sleeve -30 - 100- until fully seated on the crankshaft.
–  Install the oil sump with oil pump → Chapter.
