Charge air system with turbocharger
  Note
t  Secure all hose connections with hose clips which conform to production standard.
t  Hose connections and hoses for charge air system must be free from oil and grease before fitting. Only in the case of plug-in couplings, the sealing ring and sealing surface must be oiled slightly → Chapter.
t  Charge air system must be free of leaks.
t  Renew self-locking nuts.
t  To fit the spring clips, use the spring clip pliers -VAS 6499-.
t  Fill turbocharger with engine oil at oil supply line connection.
t  After installing turbocharger, run engine for about 1 minute at idle and do not rev up immediately. This ensures that the turbocharger is fully primed with oil.
