Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Torque wrench (40 -200 Nm) -V.A.G 1332-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Fitting device -T10117-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Kit de extractores -T20143-, ver equivalente → Anchor

Removing
–  Remove front right wheel housing: → Bodywork- fitting work; Rep. Gr.66
–  Poly-V belt: removing → Chapter
   
–  Desmontar la polea del cigüeñal bloqueándolo con el útil de retención -3415- y -3415/1-.
  N13-0469
–  Insertar el extractor -T20143- y extraer el retén -1-.
–  Remove the sleeve of the crankshaft journal and clean the contact surfaces of the crankshaft sprocket and the sleeve.
Fitting
  Note
Make sure that the contact surfaces of the pulley, the attachment bolt, the sleeve and the crankshaft sprocket are free of grease and oil.

–  Place the sleeve -T10117- on the bushing and slide the seal along the bushing
–  Remove the bushing sleeve -T10117-.

–  Insert the seal using the assembly tool -T10117- as far as possible in the distribution housing by tapping it evenly
Continue installation following reverse order for removing.
