| The engine control unit is equipped with a self-diagnosis function. Before carrying out repairs and fault finding, first consult the fault memory. Also check vacuum hoses and connecting pipes (unmetered air). |

| The fuel hoses in the engine compartment must only be attached with plastic clamps. The use of clamp or screw-type clips is not permissible. |

| For the perfect functioning of electrical components, a minimum voltage of 11.5 V is necessary. |

| Do not use silicone sealants. Particles of silicone drawn into the engine, will not be burnt in the engine and damage the Lambda probe. |

| The vehicles are equipped with a fuel shut-off system in the event of collisions. It reduces the danger of a fire in a crash as the fuel pump is switched off via the fuel pump relay. It also achieves more comfort when starting the engine. When the door is opened, the fuel pump is activated for 2 seconds in order to build up pressure in the fuel system. |
