| When working on the fuel supply/injection system, pay careful attention to the following “5 rules”: |

| Thoroughly clean connections and surrounding area before releasing them. |

| Place removed parts on a clean surface and cover. Use lint-free cloths. |
| t
| Carefully cover or seal open components if repairs cannot be carried out immediately. |
| t
| Only fit clean parts: Only unpack spares just before fitting them. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in toolboxes etc.). |
| t
| When the system is open: Do not use compressed air unless absolutely necessary. Do not move vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
