Removal:
Removal:
–  Remove front right hand side wheel housing protection: → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. Gr.50.
–  Remove the centre soundproofing → Bodywork, exterior assembly work; Rep. Gr.50.
–  Remove Poly V-belt → Chapter
–  Then remove principal timing belt → Chapter.
–  After that, remove the crankshaft timing belt sprocket.
–  To guide the extractor, screw the attachment bolt of the timing belt sprocket as far as it will go into the crankshaft.
–  Unscrew the inner part of the compression ring extractor -3240- by three turns (approx. 5 mm) from the outside part and lock with the knurled screw.
   
–  Lubricate the threaded head of the seal extractor, position it by pressing firmly, and turn it into the seal as far as possible.
–  Loosen the knurled bolt, and turn the inner element against the crankshaft until the seal is removed.
