| Lubricate the threaded head of the seal extractor, position it by pressing firmly, and turn it into the seal as far as possible. |

| Slacken off knurled screw and turn inner part towards crankshaft until oil seal has been extracted. |

| Remove bearing bush from crankshaft journal and clean contact surfaces of crankshaft chain sprocket and bearing bush. |

| From model year 2009, a diamond coated washer is installed. The washer prevent the crankshaft from being turned when the securing bolt is tightened. |

| The washer is fitted -7- between the bearing bush -5- and the crankshaft chain sprocket. |

| Note that all contact surfaces from the securing bolt to the crankshaft chain sprocket must be free of oil and grease. |
