Oil pump: removing and fitting

t  Removing → Anchor
t  Fitting → Anchor
t  Torque values → Anchor
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability between Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench kit -SAT 8010-, see equivalent → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove the oil sump → Chapter.
  L00-10226
–  Remove bolt -2- from pump shaft.
–  Pull sprocket off oil pump shaft.
–  Remove bolts -1- and -3- and detach oil pump along with baffle plate.
Fitting
–  Fit the centring bushing → Item on the upper part of the oil pump.
–  Fit the oil pump .
  Note
Fitting position of sprocket/oil pump shaft: can only be fitted in one position
–  Fit the oil sump → Chapter.
Continue fitting, following the reverse order of the stripping process.
