| Cylinder heads with cracks between the valve seats can be still used without a reduction in useful life, as long as the cracks are no more than 0.5 mm in width. |

| After fitting the camshaft, the engine should not be started for approx. 30 minutes. The hydraulic followers must be allowed to sit in to position (otherwise, the valves will hit the pistons). |

| After carrying out work on the valve control, rotate the engine gently 2 times to ensure that, before starting the engine, no valve is down. |
