Exhaust system: Align so that components are free of stress
   
Exhaust system: Align so that components are free of stress
l  The exhaust system must be installed when the engine is cold.
–  Loosen the front double clamp → Item
–  Move the exhaust system forwards -arrow- until the tension on the support tie on the secondary silencer is -a- = 15 … 17 mm.

–  Install the double clamp, ensuring that the bolt end does not project over the lower edge of the clamp.
l  The bolted connection must point to the right.
–  Tighten the double clamp evenly to a torque of 25 Nm.
Align the end pipes:
  A26-0277
–  Align the secondary silencer so that there is an equal distance -a- and -b- between the indentation passage in the rear bumper and the end pipes.
–  To centre the end tubes, loosen the secondary silencer suspension, if necessary.
