Caution | Steam can be released when removing the cap from the expansion tank. The cap should be covered with a cloth and opened carefully. |

| Remove the cap from the expansion tank and replace it by the tester -SAT 1274- using the adapter -V.A.G 1274/8-. |

| Force a pressure of 1 bar using the tester -SAT 1274-. |
| –
| If the pressure drops during a short period, find the leak in the installation. |

| Fit the tester -SAT 1274- into the plug with the -V.A.G 1274/9- adapter. |

| Operate the tester -SAT 1274-. The release valve should open at a pressure of 1.4 … 1.6 bar. If not then replace the plug. |
