Installing: notes
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence, when doing this note the following:
–  Check clutch release bearing for wear, renew if necessary.
–  Lightly grease clutch release bearing, release bearing guide sleeve and input shaft splines with -G 000 100-.
–  Check whether the dowel sleeves for centralising engine/gearbox are in the cylinder block, install if necessary.
   
–  Check that the intermediate plate is correctly positioned and that the adjusting sleeves are in their housing -arrows-.
–  When installing the assembly, ensure sufficient clearance to drive shafts.
  Note!
Engine support tightening torques → Chapter
–  Align the engine bracket assembly by jerking it so as to leave it without tension; if necessary, release the engine bracket from the bodywork as well.
–  Fit gearbox control and, if necessary, adjust control cable: → 5-speed manual gearbox 02T; Rep. Gr.34
–  Remove hydraulic clutch slave cylinder: fitting → 5-speed manual gearbox 02T; Rep. Gr.30
–  Fit the coolant hoses and the vacuum hoses.
