Rubber bushings of the engine support: replacing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Engine and gearbox holding crossmember -U-30025-
t  Bearings -U-40501-
t  Pressure bolt and expansion nut -T20090-

Work sequence
–  Fit holding crossmember -U-30025-, fix to the ring at the left of the cylinder head and pre-tighten the engine slightly.
–  Remove the fastener from the front engine unit support.
–  Remove engine unit crossbeam from vehicle.
   
–  Lever the spacer bushing washers out (replace damaged and/or bent washers).
–  Pull the spacer bushings out and remove the rubber bearings.
–  Fit the new rubber bearings and insert the spacer bushings.
–  Work over the edges of the spacer bushings lightly until the washers fit in.

–  Position the rubber bearing (soaked in soapy water) in the bushing -U-40501-; position the tools on the engine unit support, as shown in the illustration (make sure the conical part of expansion nut -T20090- does not touch the bushing.) Turn the nut -T20090- until the rubber bearing is seated.

–  Position the washers -1- and fit nut -T20090- (with the conical part towards the washer), turn the nut until the edge of the spacer bushings expands.
