Crankshaft seal - pulley side: replacing
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Countersupport -T20018-
t  Seal extractor -T20031-
t  Pressure piece -T20081/1- and Pressure piece -T20081/2-

Remove
–  First remove the toothed belt → Chapter.
–  Remove the crankshaft toothed belt pinion.
   
–  Oil the threaded head of the extractor -T20031-, and, pressing hard, thread it all the way into the seal.
–  Turn the bolt against the crankshaft until the seal comes free.
Installation
–  Lightly oil the seal lip.
–  Fit the seal in guide sleeve -T20081/2- and fit the unit over the crankshaft journal.

–  Use pusher -T20081/1- and press on the guide sleeve-seal unit until the seal seats. To do so, use the old vibration dampener mounting bolt.
–  Remove guide sleeve -T20081/2-.
–  Install the crankshaft pinion and immobilise it with countersupport -T20018-.
–  Installation of the toothed belt → Chapter.
