1 - 0.3...0.6 bar oil pressure switch -F1-, 25 Nm
q   Identification: black
q   Testing → Chapter
q   In the event of leakage cut and re-place the ring gasket
2 - Guide pipe
q   Check the note on fitting → Anchor
3 - To the air filter
4 - Bolt with cutting thread, 6 Nm
q   Check the note on fitting → Anchor
5 - Filling funnel
q   Remove in case of emptying oil by absorption
6 - Oil dipstick
q   The oil level must not exceed the max. mark!
q   Marks → Fig.
7 - Plug
q   Replace the gasket if worn
8 - Coolant pump
q   With gasket incorporated
q   Do not remove the gasket from the coolant pump
q   In the event of breakage or leakage, replace the coolant pump with gasket
q   Check that it turns easily
9 - Oil filter
q   Loosen by the hexagon or with universal filter extractor -U–40078-
q   Hand tighten
q   Bear in mind the fitting instructions on the filter
10 - Tensioning roller
q   Testing → Chapter
q   Tighten the toothed belt → Chapter
11 - 20 Nm
12 - Rear toothed belt shield
13 - Camshaft pinion
q   Bear in mind the fitting position when fitting the toothed belt → Chapter
14 - 20 Nm + 1/4 turn (90o)
q   To loosen and tighten, immobilise the camshaft pinion with countersupport -T20018A-
q   Replace
15 - Toothed belt
q   Before removing, mark the direction of rotation
q   Check for wear
q   Do not fold
q   Removing and fitting, tightening → Chapter
16 - Toothed belt-crankshaft pinion
q   Bear in mind the fitting position when fitting the toothed belt → Chapter
17 - 90 Nm + 1/4 turn (90o)
q   Replace
q   Oil before fitting
q   To loosen and tighten, immobilise the toothed belt-camshaft pinion with countersupport -T20018A-
q   Retightening may be done in several steps
q   The retightening angle may be measured with protractor -T20030-
18 - 12 Nm
q   Replace
19 - Seal
q   Replace → Chapter
20 - Oil pump
q   Always replace the unit
q   When fitting, bear in mind the crankshaft drive component → Item
q   It must be positioned on adjustment pins
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
21 - Gasket
q   Replace
q   It must be positioned on adjustment pins
22 - Gasket
q   Replace
23 - 10 Nm
24 - Air intake line
q   Clean the filter if dirty
25 - Wiring strip/wiring guide
26 - Oil sump
q   Removing and fitting → Chapter
q   Before fitting, clean the sealing surface
q   Fit with silicone-based sealant -D176 404 A2- → Chapter
27 - Oil purge screw, 30 Nm
q   With ring gasket incorporated
q   Replace
28 - 15 Nm
q   Loosen and tighten the flywheel side bolts with Allen spanner -U-40051A-
29 - Drive component
q   Oil before fitting the oil pump
30 - O-ring
q   Replace
31 - Air separator

Tighten the fastening bolt of the oil dipstick guide sleeve:
  Note!
t  A factory self-threading bolt is used to fix the guide pipe to the plastic intake manifold. Tightening or loosening this bolt with a screwdriver may damage the intake manifold nut.
t  Therefore, a screwdriver may only be used in the following conditions:
t  Maximum revolutions of tool, 200/min
t  tightening torque set to 3 Nm, maximum
   
Oil dipstick marks
1 - Max. mark
2 - Min. mark
a- Area between the upper edge of the marked area and the max. mark: do not add oil
b - The level is within the marked area: oil may be added
c - Area between the min. mark and the lower edge of the marked area: add no more than 0.5 l of oil
