  Caution
When doing any repair work, especially in the engine compartment, pay attention to the following due to the cramped conditions:
All conduits (for example for fuel, hydraulics, carbon filter, liquid cooler and cooling agent, brake fluid, low pressure) and the electric cables must be placed in such a way that they return to their original position.
Ensure sufficient clearance for all moving or hot components.
  Note
t  The cooling system is under pressure when the engine is warm. Therefore, this pressure must de reduced before repairing.
t  hose connections are secured with spring-type clips. Always use spring clips when performing repairs.
t  For fitting spring-type clips, it is advisable to use pliers -T20029- or retention tool -T20174-.
t  When installing, route coolant hoses without tension and not touching other components (note marking on coolant connection and hose).
