t  If large quantities of metal shavings or abrasion are found when performing engine repairs, this may be an indication of damage to the crankshaft or conrod bearings. To avoid any subsequent damage, you must carry out the following work following repair: clean the oil ducts carefully, renew the oil spray jets, oil cooler and oil filter.
t  The oil level must not be above the max. mark - danger of damage to catalytic converter! Marks → Chapter
