t
Check all cylinders in turn.
–
Dry all components after cleaning.
–
Unscrew the union nut in cylinder 1 on the high-pressure reservoir and also slacken the union nut on the injector a little using the socket attachment -T40055-. Seal off open connection on injector line.
–
Plug open connection using plug -T40204-.
l
The electrical connector of the relevant injector must remain connected.
–
Erase all entries in the event memory.
Note t
The entry „positive control deviation“ should no longer be indicated when the defective injector has been located.
t
Other fault messages may possibly be stored in the memory. These result from previous steps and can be disregarded.
–
After road test read-out the event memory. If an event relating to „positive fuel pressure control“ is still in the event memory, repeat the above steps for all connections of the the high-pressure reservoir until the event entry is no longer indicated after the road-test.
Observe all instructions for connecting injector pipes |
–
Lubricate threads of union nuts with fuel.
