Air filter: Removing and installing
Air filter: Removing and installing
Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Pliers -T20174- or pliers -SAT 1105-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Removing
  W00-2456
–  Remove the elastic clip -2- on the air hose and separate it from the air filter.
–  Loosen the hose -1- and disconnect the connecter from the air mass gauge -3-.
–  Remove the air conduit -4- from the air filter.
–  Extract the attachment bolt -5- from the air filter.
–  Carefully separate from the air filter by pulling upwards.
Installing
Install in the reverse order from removal, remembering the following:

t  Note the correct seating of the limits in the lower part of the air filter (front and rear).

t  For fitting, the mark on the air hose must be located -arrows-.
