Coolant temperature sender at the radiator outletG83: Removing and installing
Coolant temperature sender at the radiator outlet -G83-: Removing and installing
t  Removing → Anchor.
t  Fitting → Anchor.
   
Removing .
l  Engine cold.
–  Open filler cap on coolant expansion tank briefly and allow residual pressure in cooling system to dissipate.

–  Remove the engine cover upwards -arrows-.

–  Slacken bolt -1- and unscrew bolt -2- and nut -3-.
–  Remove bracket -4- from fuel filter, and lay fuel filter -7- aside with fuel hoses -5- and -6- connected.

–  Remove connector -2- on the coolant temperature sender -G83- at the radiator outlet.
  Note
Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping coolant.
–  Pull off retaining clip -1- and pull coolant temperature sender at radiator outlet -G83- out of screw connection of coolant pipe.
Fitting .
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:

t  Renew O-ring.
t  Insert new radiator outlet coolant temperature sender -G83- immediately into coolant pipe to avoid loss of coolant.
–  Check coolant level and top up if necessary → Chapter.
