  WARNING
Steam may escape when expansion tank is opened. Cover the cap with a cloth and open carefully.
–  Open cap on coolant expansion tank.
Removing the sound proofing: → General body repairs, exterior; Rep. gr.50.
   
–  Pull coolant hoses -1- off coolant circulation pump 2 -V178--2-.

–  Remove air hose. Release hose clips -1- and -2- for this.

–  Pull off lower coolant hose retaining clip -arrow- and remove coolant hose from quick-release connection of radiator.

–  To drain coolant from engine, also remove coolant hose from engine oil cooler -arrow-.
  Note
Observe environmental regulations for disposal.
