| Check all air hoses and pipes for firm seating and leaks before carrying out tests or repairs. |

| Hose connections and air pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before assembly. |

| In order to be able to securely attach the air hoses on their connections, the worm screws of the used hose clips have to be sprayed with penetrating spray before installing. |
Caution | The screw-type clips -A- on the charge air lines must always be tightened as specified → Fig.. If the torque is too low or too high, the charge air hose may slip off the corrugated pipe connection or the charge air pipe when the vehicle is used. |
