Pressure differential senderG505: Removing and installing
Pressure differential sender -G505-: Removing and installing
The pressure sender is connected to measuring point of the particulate filter via a pipe → Chapter.
The pressure differential sender -G505- determines the amount of deposits in the particulate filter.

Removal:
–  Remove the engine cover upwards -arrows-.
–  Remove retaining clips of the hose.
–  Carefully and in a straight line, separate the hose from the connecting sleeves (the sleeves of the pressure sender break easily).

–  Undo the screws -3- and remove the bracket of the pressure differential sender -G505--arrow-.
Fitting
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
  Note
t  Before installing, blow out control lines of pressure differential sender -G505- to particulate filter with compressed air towards particulate filter (blocked or iced up due to condensation).
t  The hose line must have a fixed connection so that no leakage can occur.
t  Observe the reference markings for installing the hose line.
t  If pressure line has been released from particulate filter, re-tighten the pressure line → Chapter.
After replacing the pressure differential sender -G505- or the particle filter, a readopting must be carried out again. (Description under "Guided Functions".)
