Coolant circulation pump -V50-: Removing → Anchor
Coolant circulation pump -V50-: Fitting → Anchor
   
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Measuring tool -T10007-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Base -T20174-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Torque wrench (5... 50 Nm) -V.A.G 1331-, see equivalent → Anchor

   
t  Hose clips -3094-

Removing
–  Disconnect connector -3- and remove the coolant pipes -arrows-.
–  Unscrew the fastening bolt -2- and remove the coolant pump -V50-.
–  Clamp off coolant hoses with hose clamps -3094- and disconnect hoses from coolant circulation pump -V50-.
  Note
Ignore positions -1- and the -arrows-.
Installing
Install in reverse order to dismantling, noting the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter
–  Check coolant level → Anchor.
