Removing and installing throttle valve moduleJ338
Removing and installing throttle valve module -J338-
t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
Removing
–  Remove engine cover.
   
–  Open hose clip -arrow- securing air intake hose and disconnect hose downwards from throttle valve module -J338-.
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- from throttle valve module -J338-.

–  Remove the four bolts -arrows- from throttle valve module -J338- and detach throttle valve module -J338-.
Installing
–  Installation is carried out in reverse order.
–  Clean sealing surface for seal.
–  Renew seal.
l  Tightening torques: Intake manifold - Assembly overview 1.8 litre engine (CDHA, CDHB) → Chapter; 2.0 litre engine (CDND) → Chapter
–  After replacing the throttle valve control unit -J338-, the engine control unit -J623- must be adjusted once more, see → Vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051„guided functions“
