| Rules for cleanliness and instructions for working on fuel system |
| Even small amounts of dirt can cause faults in the injection system. When working on the fuel supply system and injection system, it is therefore important to observe the following basic rules: |

| Carefully clean connection points and the surrounding area with engine cleaner or brake cleaner and dry thoroughly before opening. |

| Immediately seal off open pipes and connections with suitable caps. |
| t
| Place removed parts on a clean surface and cover. Use only lint-free cloths. |
| t
| Only install clean components: do not remove replacement parts from packaging until just before installation. Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in tool boxes etc.). |

| When the system is open, do not work with compressed air. Do not move the vehicle unless absolutely necessary. |
