Throttle valve control unitJ338: removing and fitting
Throttle valve control unit -J338-: removing and fitting

removing
–  Remove engine cover → Chapter.
–  Remove the central soundproofing pan → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. Gr.50.
   
–  Loosen the bolts and clamps -arrows-, and remove the supercharger air pipe with the hose pulling downwards.
–  Loosen the four bolts of the throttle valve control unit -J338-, and remove it.
Fitting
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence; note the following:
–  If a new throttle valve control unit -J338- has meen fitted, adapt the engine control unit to the throttle valve control unit -J338- → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051“Guided functions”.
