t  Removing → Anchor
t  Installing → Anchor
  Caution
The coupling seal may be damaged if the safety fastener is locked when carrying out the assembly. This will cause leaking. Observe the assembly instructions.
   
Removing
–  Release plug-in connector by pulling out retaining clip -arrow-. Detach the hose from the pipe without using any auxiliary tools.
Installing
–  If renewed, place oil seal in groove of charge air hose. Ensure that the sealing ring makes proper contact along the whole circumference of the groove and that it is not twisted.
–  Lubricate sealing surface and seal with oil.

–  Move the safety fastener to the unlock position -1-.
–  Push charge air hose into coupling to stop.
–  Move the safety fastener to the lock position -2- and then push it once again towards to interior of the supercharger air hose.
–  Pull at the hose to check that the coupling is securely attached and that it is properly inserted.
