Removing and installing air filter housing

Removing → Anchor.
Installing → Anchor.
Removing
   
–  Unscrew the bolts -arrows- and remove the upper air filter housing.
–  Lift the upper element of the air filter housing and remove the air filter cartridge.
–  Remove the air pipe to the air filter housing from the lock plate carrier -2 and 3-.

–  Unscrew the bolt -1-.
–  Carefully pull the lower element of the air filter housing upwards.
Installing

–  Remove the snow grill -1- and clean it.
  Note
The snow grate is not mounted in all the vehicles.

–  Clean the drain -arrow- and the lower element of the air filter.

–  Separate the drain hose -arrow- from the lower element of the air filter housing then clean any dirt and leaves from the connection and the hose.
–  When installing the air filter insert, position it in the middle of the lower air filter housing element.
–  Fit the top section of the air cleaner carefully on the bottom section, without using force. Ensure that the upper air filter housing element is not inclined on the cartridge (check the sealing lip of the element)
Perform remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
