Consult the equivalence table for tools and equipment according to applicability among Seat / VW / Audi / Skoda → Chapter.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Hose clamp -3094-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Collecting tray -VAS 6208-, see equivalent → Anchor
t  Pliers for spring-loaded band-type clamps -VAS 6499-, see equivalent → Anchor

Removing
–  Separate the under body protection.
–  Remove inner front right wheel housing moulding → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.66
   
–  Place the drip tray -VAS 6208- under the engine.
–  Seal off and remove the coolant hoses with the hose clamps of up to Ø 25 mm -3094-. For this purpose, undo hose clamps -1, 2-.
–  Remove the bolts -arrows- and detach the right coolant pipe.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torques → Chapter
  Note
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Install the anti-splash cover.
–  Check coolant level → Chapter.
