| Engine/gearbox crane -VAS 6095-, see equivalent → Anchor |
| For assembly work, the engine must be secured to the Engine support -VAS 6095-. Proceed as follows: |

| Separate the gearbox from the engine on the flange. |

| Gearbox detached from engine. |

| Secure the engine to the engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-. The dowel sleeves must be removed. |
| –
| Remove the support tool -2024A-. |
| –
| Secure the engine to the engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-. The dowel sleeves must be removed. |
Note | When work is carried out on the crankshaft or on the sealing flange, the flywheel and the intermediate plate must be dismantled before mounting on the engine and gearbox mounting -VAS 6095-. |
