| Clean and check the cylinder head. Cylinder heads whose valve seating may not be reworked or cylinder heads that have been already reworked to the minimum dimension are not appropriate for replacement of the valve guides. |

| Extract the used valve guides using the valve guide tool -T20035- from the camshaft side (for valve guides fitted with a collaret -uniquely for spares- from the combustion chamber side). |
