Removing
–  Remove the camshaft → Chapter.
–  Extract the hydraulic cam followers and place them on the slide surface below, ensure not to mix them up.
–  Remove the spark plugs.
–  Set piston of appropriate cylinder to “bottom dead centre”.
   
–  Use the compression tool -T20034B-.
–  Screw hose -T20033- into the spark plug thread.
–  Connect the tube to a compressed air system of 6 bar minimum.
–  Separate the valve springs using the compression tool -T20034B-Ø...
  Note
If necessary, give light taps using a hammer on the compression tool to remove stiff valve cotters.

–  Remove the valve guide seals using the valve guide seal extractor -T20058-.
