Removal:
Removal:
–  Remove noise insulation.
–  Remove right wheel housing moulding → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.66.
–  Mark direction of rotation of poly V-belt and remove it → Chapter.
–  Turn crankshaft in direction of engine rotation to TDC No. 1 cylinder → Chapter.
–  Remove coolant pump.
–  Remove banjo bolt from oil supply pipe to turbocharger.
–  Remove the air conditioning compressor with the connected refrigerant pipes from its bracket: → Heater, air conditioner; Rep. gr.87
–  Remove bracket for tensioning element and air conditioner compressor.
–  Remove alternator.
   
–  Install support device -U-30025F- with adapter -U-30025/5B- as shown and hook into lifting eye.

–  Take up weight of engine and remove securing bolts -arrows-.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.

–  Undo bolt for poly V-belt. Hold pulley with counterhold -3415- and -3415/1-.
  N13-0469
–  Remove Allen head bolts for timing housing and hexagon bolts indicated by -arrows-.
–  Remove distribution chain.

Note that crankshaft bearing bush remains in sealing flange.
