Crankshaft seal, pulley side: Replace > < Engine block, flanges

1 - Attachment bolt
q   Follow the correct tightening order → Chapter
q   Replace
q   The contact surface of the fastening bolt must be free of oil and grease
q   Apply oil before fitting it (thread)
q   Secure the pulley with the counterhold -3415- to prevent it from turning
q   The retightening angle can be measured with a standard protractor
2 - Belt pulley
q   The contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease.
q   Lock with retaining tool -3415- to assemble and dismantle
q   Poly-V belt: Removing and installing radio → Chapter
3 - Oil seal
q   Renew → Chapter
4 - Sleeve
q   The contact surfaces must be free of oil and grease.
5 - O-ring
q   Replace
6 - aluminium cylinder block!
7 - 60 Nm +1/4 turn further (90º)
8 - Flywheel/ drive plate
q   To remove and fit the engine flywheel, immobilise it using the retention tool -T10044- → Anchor
9 - Intermediate plate
q   Must sit on dowel sleeves
q   Do not damage/bend when assembling
10 - 12 Nm
q   Replace
11 - Sealing flange with sender crown and seal
q   With engine speed sender -G28- (without diagram)
q   Tightening torque of the engine speed sender -G28-: 5 Nm
q   Always replace the sealing flange together with the seal and the sender crown
q   Removing and fitting the sealing flange → Chapter
