Removing and installing tensioner for poly V-belt Removing: –  Remove the sound insulation → Bodywork, exterior installation work; Rep. gr.50 –  Remove right wheel housing liner → Bodywork, exterior fitting work; Rep. gr.66.

–  Just loosen pendulum support on assembly mounting first then remove.

–  Remove bolt -2- at bracket for coolant pump for continued circulation -V51-.

Vehicles with auxiliary heater: –  Slacken clip -1- and remove bolt -2-. –  Detach exhaust silencer for auxiliary heater. All: –  Bracing the engine in its installation position → Chapter.

–  Remove bolts -arrows- of assembly mounting at engine. –  Lower engine by approx. 55 mm. –  Remove poly V-belt → Chapter.

–  Place wiring harness to one side -arrow-. –  Remove bolt -1- and take off tensioner for poly-V-belt from bracket for ancillaries.

Installing: l  Tightening torque → Chapter Installation is carried out in the reverse order; noting the following in the process: –  Insert tensioner -1- for poly V-belt in bracket for ancillaries -3- and tighten bolt -5-. l  Note the installation position of support element -2-: Fit the lug of support element in hole on bracket for ancillaries. l  Note position of centring sleeve -4-. –  Adjust the mechanical group mountings → Chapter
