Removing and installing accelerator module Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  For left-hand drive vehicles: Assembly tool -T10238- Or

t  For right-hand drive vehicles: Assembly tool -T10240-

Removing: –  Remove the steering column cover -arrows-.

–  Remove the cap -3- by levering with a screwdriver. –  Undo the securing bolt -2-. –  Unlock the terminal connector -1--arrow- and remove from the accelerator pedal module.

–  Insert the release tool -T10238- (for right-hand drive vehicles, release tool -T10240-) all the way into the corresponding holes, as shown, and remove the accelerator pedal module.

Installing: –  Fit terminal connector -1- to accelerator pedal module -4-. Engage the connector -arrow-. –  Insert the accelerator pedal module onto the securing pins -5-. –  Insert the centring pin -6- into the hole in the vehicle floor. –  Secure accelerator pedal module with bolt -2- and press on cap -3-.

–  Place the steering column cover back on. Tightening torque:
