Special tools and workshop equipment required

t  Torque wrench -VAG 1410-

Removal:
–  Loosen the screw clips -arrows- of the filter -1-.
–  Separate the gas hoses from the connecting positions and remove the filter -1-.
Installing
–  Fit the new filter between the hose connecting positions.
  Note
Observe the fitting direction markings on the filter.
–  Mount and tighten the brackets.

Tightening torques of the screw clips: 4 Nm
–  After completing the assembly, use the Gas leak detector -VAS 6227- to carry out an inspection on the screw connections -arrows- of the autogas filter -1-.
