Removing and installing fuel gauge senderG
Removing and installing fuel gauge sender -G-
  Note
t  Note safety precautions before beginning work → Chapter.
t  Observe rules for cleanliness → Chapter.

t  Fitting → Anchor
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Spanner -T10202-
Removing
–  Remove fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
  W00-1334
–  Release connectors for lines -1- and -2- and pull off.
  Note
In some versions it is necessary to remove the other connection from between the cable connectors -1- and -2-.
–  Lever off retaining lugs -3- and -4- using a screwdriver and remove the Fuel gauge sender -G- by pulling downwards -arrow- .
Installing
–  Fit the fuel gauge sender -G- into the guides on fuel delivery unit and press upwards until it clicks into place.
–  Insert connector and check they have engaged properly.
–  Install fuel delivery unit → Chapter.
